Ministry of Safety – Be Bright Be seen

As part of their work to promote road safety awareness across the school, the Ministry of Safety took part in the annual autumn road safety campaign to be bright and be seen. The children in the ministry led an assembly to promote the message to all the children that, with darker mornings and evenings, they need to make sure that they are visible to drivers. The children also held a photography competition for the whole school. To enter the competition the children had to take a photograph of themselves to show how bright they could make themselves. Several children managed to convince some other members their families to also be in their photographs. The two winning photographs won a goody bag from the road safety officer.
