This week the children in Years 1 to 4 worked with a visiting instructor in Funtrition workshops. The children learnt about the healthy eating plate which helps them to see the range of different foods in a healthy diet. They also had the opportunity to think about how healthy their own diets are. The children then had the chance to practice their chopping skills and Year 1 and 2 prepared and chopped a wide range of fruits that they made into fruit salad that they could eat, While Years 3 and 4 prepared and chopped a wide range of vegetables that they made into salads to eat.
