Class 3 trip to the British Museum
23rd March 2018
Today Class 3 travelled on a double-decker coach to London, along with Foxton School's Class 3, to see the Ancient Egyptian galleries at the British Museum.
We used it as a pre-teaching trip in preparation for our Ancient Egypt topic work next term. Foxton have been learning about the Ancient Egyptians this term.
At lunch we used the space outside in the sunshine to practice our Oracy skills by asking the experts questions, and they challenged us to answer questions about what we had seen in the museum.
We all had a very busy, but very fun day, packed full of learning opportunities and sight seeing - we saw Wembley Stadium from the coach window!
