Road Safety Conference

30th October 2018

Road Safety Conference

The children who are in our Ministry of Safety are also Junior Travel Ambassadors (JTAs) for the school. This means that they work closely with the county road safety officer to promote an awareness of road safety among all our children.

On Tuesday 30th October our, very excited, JTAs went to the first ever Cambridgeshire JTA conference held at the conference centre at Huntingdon Race Course.  During the day they met up with JTAs from other schools from across the county and took part in a range of activities to help develop their awareness of road safety, so that they can come back to school and share this knowledge with the rest of the children. They had a great day and all of them agreed that one of the highlights was definitely meeting Spike the road safety mascot!
