Brook Street Band Visit

8th March 2018
Today we had a visit from the Brook Street Band who travelled from Norfolk, Kent and London to be here with us. They worked with each class to tell us about life and the instruments around the time of George Frederic Handel. We looked at a range of instruments in the recorder family from the baby Sopranino recorder to the Bass recorder. The whole school heard the band, consisting of a violin, flute, cello and harpischord, play a range of music from 300 years ago.
We all had an amazing musical day!
