5th July 2019
This morning we held this term's Curiosity Cafe. These are events held in each class to give the children's families the opportunity to come in and get involved in classroom activities. This one had a art theme. Every class used a different art skills to create detailed patterns on long strips of sugar paper. Class 1 used pastels to draw repeating patterns, while Class 2 used rubbing to create different textures on their paper. Class 3 used pointillism to create dotty patterns and Class 4 used cross hatching to make their patterns.
The finished patterned strips of paper will be used together to make two large works of art in the new school extension; an owl and a cat.
