We were forced to commemorate Remembrance in a slightly different way this year. All our classes remained in school and we did not send our oldest pupils to the act of remembrance at the village war memorial. Due the challenges of keeping everyone as safe as possible during the pandemic, we held our act of remembrance over Zoom. Each class remained in their own room and we joined together through the class interactive whiteboards so that we could maintain social distancing and each class could lay the poppy wreath the children had made. Two of the older children read the words from the act of remembrance and led us in prayers before we joined together in two minutes silence.
