The Sensory Garden
21st October 2021
We have been working very hard this term to complete our new sensory garden and thanks to a lot of hard work and generosity of many people it is looking amazing!
We have made the edges of the raised beds using our old climbing frame and the carpentry skills of some of our parents. Redrow provided us with the top soil to fill out beds and also a huge cable reel that we have made into a little play house.
The raised beds have been filled with a beautiful mixture of plants and we have moved the sheep sculpture donated by Tony Hillier, into the garden. As the final touch we are gradually adding tree stump seating for the children to sit on in the garden.
