Tour de Barrington and Shepreth
19th July 2021
The Junior Travel Ambassadors (JTAs) are children from Y4/5 who work with the Cambridgeshire road safety officer to organize events and activities in school to promote safe and environmentally safe transport in school. This month they led an assembly to promote cycling and scooting as ways of getting to school and around the villages. They challenged the rest of the school to use either their bikes or scooters to travel to school or make another journey and to take a selfie of themselves doing it. Every child who sent in a selfie was entered into a prize draw to win one of two goodie bags from the road safety officer. They called the challenge the Tour de Barrington and Shepreth!
