Our school opened in 1838 and we are very proud of our very special building; one of only two thatched schools in the country! Our school has a strong sense of community, while history and tradition are a large part of what makes our school special. We strive to ensure that all children feel happy, safe, secure and truly valued as individuals in our school family. We know our children inside out because of our positive nurturing environment and our strong working partnership with parents.
