Playworker Vacancy - Peacock Club
Barrington is a growing village school with a big heart and a strong presence in the community. Our children are the focus of everything we do and we value the mental health and wellbeing of all members of the school community above everything else.
We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Playworkers to join our friendly Peacock Club wraparound care team.
This is a term-time only role with flexible sessions available, making it ideal for both experienced childcare practitioners and those looking to begin a career in childcare.
Working Hours
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Breakfast Club: 7:30am to 8:45am
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 After-School Club: 3:25pm to 6:00pm (5:00pm on Fridays)
The Role
You will:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supervise and engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prepare simple snacks and drinks.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Work closely with parents and school staff.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain records and report any concerns.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Administer basic first aid when required.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Attend relevant training.

Essential
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working with children, or a genuine interest in pursuing a career in childcare.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Good verbal and written communication skills.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Desirable
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Level 3 Early Years qualification.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Paediatric First Aid qualification.
Full training will be provided.

The salary for this role is Point 3 on Teaching Assistant Pay Scale, FTE 拢24,796 (拢12.85 per hour)
